
The St. Mawes Passanger Ferry
Falmouth
An unique fire protection solution was achieved on the Mawes Ferry, a 100 seater passenger vessel for Cockwells Boatbuilders. The vessel is a timber construction requiring a fire protective coating to prevent the spread of flames to the columns, rafters and also to the timber panelling in the passenger area using the Fabshield system.

Armouries Museum

FPD are pleased to offer its comprehensive range of Fire Protection Solutions. The client needed advice on Fire Protection for the Armouries Museum. FPD visited the site and worked closely with the main contractor advising throughout the process to completion. As a result FPD were able to provide fire protection to all the structural steel and complete all the fire-stopping requirements utilising products from the FPD range.

Korean Cultural Centre
The Strand, London
FPD were called in at short notice to provide 1 hour fire protection to the structural steel work in this new and prestigious building. The Intumescent paint was finished with a special grey topcoat. This was achieved quickly and efficiently using one of FPD's specialist applicators.

De Montfort University
Leicester
A waterborne thin film timber intumescent was applied in FPCL Workshops Coventry to provide BS476 Parts 6 & 7, Class 1 and Class 0 fire protection in the new Library at De Montfort University in Leicester.
